This little recipe is one for the ages and it is super fast and easy. The b. strawberry chia jam is added to grainy toast for breakfast; or topped with peanut butter for the ultimate in peanut butter jelly. This jam is delicious as an after school snack for kids on their favourite crackers also.
b. Strawberry Chia Jam
1/2 cup of chia seeds
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 lemon squeezed into juice
Blend strawberries lightly with stick blender and mix in chia seeds.
Add lemon juice and mix gently.
Place mixture into air tight glass jar and place in the fridge to set.
