Honey and Sunflower Seed Salmon

After a luscious weekend around the pool – this was the ultimate tummy need.

Honey Sunflower Seed Salmon + Minted Mango Zing Salad


  • fresh (middle section) salmon with skin on
  • honey
  • teaspoon sunflower seeds


  • fresh mint bunch – handful chopped
  • 1 fresh mango sliced and diced
  • lime
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup grated beetroot
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 continental cucumber diced

Quinoa can be added to this salad if a longer lasting energy is required.


  1. BBQ the salmon – when cooked remove from bbq pour honey to glaze and sprinkle sunflower seeds.
  2. Combine all salad mix into one bowl and gently mix – pile onto plate and serve with warm salmon.
